Tapioca Powder is made from a fast-growing root of a woody, perennial Cassava shrub, cultivated in a tropical climate. Gentle to use on dry, irritated or sensitive skin, this lightweight powder thickens the product and provides smooth texture. Rich in iron and vitamin C, Tapioca Powder is known to soften skin and absorb moisture.
Coconut Oil is known for its many nourishing properties but mostly for its high content of lauric acid, capric acid and caprylic acid. Unrefined Coconut Oil simply means you get the most of the nutritional value and higher fatty acid content than its processed, refined equivalent. Perfect for those with inflamed and sensitive skin, Coconut Oil keeps the skin moisturized and hydrated.
Shea Nut Butter is rich in vitamin A and E, which helps retain skin moisture and elasticity without clogging pores. Due to the unrefined process of this butter, the essential fatty acid content is not compromised, delivering the highest moisturizing and nourishing results. Thanks to the soothing nature of Shea Nut Butter, the underarm area is continuously fortified and rejuvenated.
Baking Soda is made with refined soda ash from naturally-occurring trona (sodium carbonate compound) deposits. This type of manufacturing relies on simple processing which yields minimal waste, thus reducing impact on the environment. Rather than masking the odors, Baking Soda is known to neutralize them through a chemical process, making it ideal for use in a deodorant. Due to its powder consistency it also absorbs perspiration on top of the skin.
Candelilla Wax is native to northern Mexico and is derived from the leaves of the Candelilla shrub. Grown entirely in the wild, this plant is closely monitored to ensure sustainable practices during cultivation. A vegan alternative to beeswax, this yellow-colored wax is a great natural emulsifier creating a smooth product texture and easier application in a glide-like consistency.
Zinc Ricinoleate is zinc salt of ricinoleic acid and is derived from the seeds of Ricinus communis plant or commonly knows as Castor beans. The zinc element comes from zinc oxide while ricinoleic acid is a purified fatty acid, both naturally occurring in the plant. Zinc ricinoleate works by trapping and absorbing odor molecules formed during bacterial decomposition of perspiration.
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant derived from non-GMO soy beans that possesses excellent moisturizing properties. It plays a vital role in protecting skin cells and membranes from environmental/oxidative damage. Vitamin E oil can make skin look more radiant and rejuvenated.
Bamboo Extract is an extremely fine powder derived from a special bamboo growing in the forests of India. The deposits of silica contained within the powder provide excellent absorption powers, reducing sweat before any contact with odor-causing bacteria.
Essential Oils are considered nature's fragrances since they are purely derived from a specific plant source, without any synthetic additives. Extracted from the flowers, leaves, peel, or bark of a plant using distillation extraction, or expression techniques, these pure, highly concentrated oils are full of aromatics for stimulating senses, promoting relaxation and benefiting the body.
