Best Natural Deodorants of 2026: The Rustic MAKA Awards

Every year, magazines hand out awards for the best movies, restaurants, and beauty products. We're handing them out to deodorant.

After making these products, reading your reviews, packing thousands of orders, and smelling approximately a million armpits (occupational hazard), a few have earned a little extra recognition.

These aren't scientific awards. No judges. No red carpet. No tiny gold statues. Just a handful of completely unofficial honors for the deodorants that kept showing up, surprising us, and quietly becoming favorites throughout the year.

Without further ado…

🏆 Employee of the Year
LUNA BLISS

Some deodorants quietly do their job. Luna Bliss clocks in early, stays late, covers everyone's shift, and somehow still has perfect attendance.

Powered by charcoal and made for active days, it's the one people keep coming back for when they want dependable odor protection without having to think about it. Whether it's workouts, long workdays, weekend errands, or the kind of afternoon that somehow turns into evening plans, Luna Bliss just keeps showing up.

It also happens to be one of those scents that's incredibly easy to live with. Clean, soft, powdery, with just enough melon and jasmine to make things interesting without trying to steal the spotlight.

Reliable. Low drama. The coworker every team secretly hopes they get.

🏆 Most Likely to Tell You Everything Is Going to Be Fine
CALMING FIELDS

Some scents announce themselves. Calming Fields simply walks in, opens a window, and somehow the whole room feels a little less chaotic.

Lavender and spearmint have a way of making everything feel a little more manageable. The to-do list is still there, but somehow you're approaching it with your shoulders a little lower. It's the deodorant equivalent of texting the friend who always replies, "You've got this."

Steady. Comforting. Quietly confident. Which, honestly, is sometimes exactly the energy we're looking for before leaving the house.

🏆 Most Likely to Make Someone Ask, "What Are You Wearing?"
VELVET SOL

Berry. Cinnamon. Clove. Somehow those three words don't prepare you for what Velvet Sol actually smells like. Warm without feeling heavy. Fruity without smelling sugary. Cozy without drifting into holiday candle territory.

It's the scent people pick up "just to smell," then keep coming back for one more sniff... and then another.

We've watched plenty of customers discover Velvet Sol exactly the same way: curiosity first, then immediate attachment. The result? A deodorant that quietly earns compliments without ever trying too hard.

Meet All the Nominees

Of course, picking just three winners felt a little unfair. Every Rustic MAKA deodorant has its own personality, its own loyal fans, and the kind of scent someone inevitably says, "Okay… let me smell that one."

Whether you like bright citrus, warm woods, soft florals, fresh-and-clean scents, or something that quietly does its job without making a scene, there's probably a favorite waiting for you.

Take a look through the full lineup and you might just find your next winner.

That wraps up the first-ever Rustic MAKA Awards

Will these winners be the same next year? Probably not. Someone new might steal the spotlight. An old favorite might stage a comeback. Or Luna Bliss may continue its suspicious streak of never taking a day off.

Either way, we're not interested in picking a single "best" deodorant. Different days call for different scents. Different people have different favorites. That's exactly why we make more than one.

We'll be back next year with another completely unofficial awards ceremony. Until then, here's to deodorant that quietly does its job... even when the rest of your day has other plans.
